Making Scouts Cool Again!
So what is this ‘Revolution’ all about?
We're producing themed lesson plans for official BSA merit badges, with the intent of making merit badge content more engaging and memorable. None of the lesson plans add or alter the requirements, we just teach them in a themed way.
Here’s an example for the Zombie Survival Edition of the Emergency Preparedness merit badge:
Original Requirement: “Show three ways of attracting and communicating with rescue planes/aircraft.”
Zombified Requirement: “You’re surrounded by a zombie horde and there is no safe way to escape. Luckily, for you and your companions, there is a zombie fighter reconnaissance aircraft in the sky close to your location. Your only hope is to signal the aircraft and communicate with it.
Demonstrate three ways of attracting and communicating with rescue aircraft.”
